Ipswich Horticultural Society Garden Club Inc. is a small friendly club holding monthly meetings featuring a guest speaker and a plant and flower show judged by a Horticultural Judge. Our motto is: ‘Friendship Through Flowers’.
JULY MEETING
Our meeting in July will be held on Saturday 12th July. Set up will be from 12.30pm with the meeting starting promptly at 1:30 p.m. Our guest speaker will be Brian Heath speaking on Orchids. This will be a very interesting talk for everyone and Brian will be bringing along Orchids for sale. So, if you are an Orchid lover, don’t forget your pocket money!
Our judge on the day will be David Stephenson.
Our floral art for July will be:
1. A Desert View.
2. Beauty in a vase,
3. Parallel.
Why not have a go? Anyone can compete in the floral art section.
If you would like to join us for afternoon tea after the meeting you would be very welcome. Feel free to bring along a plate to share if you wish to do so.
