Ipswich Horticultural Society Garden Club Inc. is a small friendly club holding monthly meetings featuring a guest speaker and a plant and flower show judged by a Horticultural Judge. Our motto is: ‘Friendship Through Flowers’.
We trust you had a relaxing, enjoyable and safe Christmas and new year as we now head into 2026.
2026 promises to be an exciting year for the society as we celebrate 160 years of ‘Friendship Through Flowers’. Remember to keep a sharp eye out on this web site and if you are a member, your inbox for further information about our celebrations!
Note in your diaries too that our first meeting and show for 2026 will be on Saturday 14th February 2026.
As usual, set up will be from 12.30 p.m. with the meeting commencing promptly at 1:30p.m. Also, as always, everyone who attends will receive a free ticket for a lucky door prize and raffle tickets will be on offer at the door for $1 each.
Please feel free to bring a small plate to share for afternoon tea.
Our judge for the day will be Helen Murray and our guest speaker will be Wendy Lord talking to us about Propagation.
